本ギアケースは、重量400kgの中型鋳物の高精度部品で、FC250を用いて製造しています。
特に手込めが困難な部分については、光洋鋳造独自の鋳造品の内部に「芯」を作成する技術により、高い精度と品質を実現しています。この技術は2005年前後に光洋鋳造が開発に成功した技術です。フルモー ルド鋳造法と組み合わせることで、従来の木型では実現が難しかった複雑な形状を可能にしています。
